As far as I can tell, it doesn’t have any additional ion boosters in its tourmaline-infused ceramic plates, but you typically have to pay a premium price for a flat iron with a built-in ion generator. At a mid-range price point, you can expect additional ions to be added into the plate material to boost the ion output.
The hair straightening iron comes in a range of colors and has a soft rubber finish that feels luxurious to the touch and enhances grip. It also has a 360-degree swivel power cord which will keep you from getting tangled while styling. Personally, this is my favorite thing about the L’ange Aplatir. While I typically prefer a titanium flat iron such as the L’ange Le Rêve, if you are looking for either a ceramic flat iron or a hair straightener that’s a bit more budget-friendly, L’ange Aplatir is an excellent choice. Its tourmaline-infused ceramic plates create negative ions that make hair extra shiny, and its noncorrosive plates glide through the hair easily without snagging. Using the L’ange Aplatir is super easy!

The L’Ange Hair Le Rêve is a very similar product to the Aplatir. Both are flat irons. The key differences between these two flat irons are the material used for the heating plates and the price point. L’ange Aplatir is made of tourmaline-infused ceramic, while L’Ange Le Rêve is made of titanium. L’Ange Hair Le Rêve is more expensive because it’s made with a more expensive plate material.
I have nothing but good things to say about Le Rêve. It’s got everything I love about L’ange Aplatir, and the plates are made of titanium. If you’re like me, and you have a strong preference for all things titanium, you might prefer Le Rêve to Aplatir.
